Deluxe Session ~ Marley the Border Collie in Brisbane
This lucky boy gets to spend almost all day with his beloved mum, and their resulting bond is really obvious from the moment you meet them! Marley is a one year old Border Collie who lives on the Gold Coast. I met Marley and his mum Jacqui at one of my favourite parks in Brisbane and we spent a happy afternoon exploring and following the sun, which finally peeked out from behind the clouds for about 20 minutes at the end of the session!
Marley was a great model for me, showing off his tricks and sitting pretty, along with being a man of action with his ball and later in the creek as well.
We started off with some action – here’s Marley, so focused on his ball!

Next we went to the secret graffiti wall where Marley happily showed me just how much he loves his mum.

Since it was cloudy for much of the session, I tried to find some interesting spots to shoot that didn’t rely so much on sunshine. Loved this little spot amongst the leaves next to the creek – some gorgeous colours and textures.

The sun finally made an appearance so we moved quickly and made the most of it! This image is going to be on the cover of Marley’s Momento Book.

When we were sure we had lots of shots of Marley with his beautiful dry coat, it was time to let him loose on the creek and get wet!
