What to expect from a photography session

Every dog is different and has their own unique story just waiting to be told. My mission is to find out what makes your dog tick by getting to know them in a relaxed, no-pressure environment so I can see their personality shine.

I aim to capture them just being themselves - which of course varies from dog to dog! Whether that be chasing tennis balls, begging for treats, lazing around getting cuddles indoors or hooning around madly at your local park or beach.

Each session is different, but usually I like to start out low key - getting the dog used to me and the camera and making sure they know I'm a fun and welcome person to have around.

I'll hang back and observe you at play with them and take some sneaky shots with my long lens, all the while getting them use to my presence. This might involve a play session in your backyard or local park where they can work off some energy before the serious modelling business begins!

Afterwards I will start working directly with your dog. During this time I like to try and develop a working understanding with them, I might ask you to help me out if I need it, but otherwise you're free to just sit back and relax until we're finished.
