Buddy the Staffordshire Terrier in the Forest

Just before lockdown here in Brisbane a couple of weeks ago, we managed to sneak in a shoot with gorgeous Buddy here and his devoted family - Debbie, Annie and Bonnie.

It's pretty safe to say Buddy is the centre of their world - he even has his own little cart to get pulled around in when his 14 year old legs get tired on those longer bush walks. How's that for service!

Adopted from the AWL just a few years ago, Buddy's past before that is unknown, but Debbie fell in love with him when she was volunteering there. She said:

"He was the only dog at the shelter that did not bark at people and visitors when we walked past his kennel. He literally just sat and lay on the wall like an old man and watch the people walked by. He caught my eyes and I was attracted by his calmness and stability."

During our session Buddy wandered along exploring the bushland trails, even getting up into an excited run a few times and posing up a storm for the camera. Best day ever!
