When deciding on the breed of dog to add to my family years ago, I very nearly settled on a Greyhound. I met some at a Gold Coast pet event who were doing their bit to help promote Greyhound adoption through a rescue organisation called Friends of the Hound. I fell in love with their gentleness and sensitivity – these dogs have the most amazing soft temperaments and contrary to what some might assume, make excellent pets.

Bare Bones Session ~ Humphrey the Beagle in Brisbane

At the grand opening of Auchenflower pet supply store Chew Chomp and Chill, we held a lucky door prize draw and Trish was the winner of the Bare Bones Session I offered up as a prize. Choosing just one of her many pets, which include 5 dogs, 2 cats, 3 rats, 6 chooks and 2 fish (!!) was hard, but she settled on her special little Beagle boy Humphrey as it was soon to be his first birthday. What a great birthday present!

Bare Bones Session ~ Mooky the Staffordshire Bull Terrier on the Gold Coast

This one has been a long time in the planning with lots of re-scheduling due to weather, but we finally got it together and Mooky had his Bare Bones session at the Spit on the Gold Coast. As often happens after rescheduling numerous times due to weather, we were treated to absolutely perfect weather on the day, almost as a reward for our patience!
